Arbitration process
The articles (theoretical essays and empirical research reports) will be submitted to an external evaluation process, which will be carried out by two reviewers (double-blind review), who will have an evaluation guideline and the manuscript to be evaluated previously anonymized.
The reviewers' evaluation will be processed by the journal editor and will be sent to the authors in a format that protects the anonymity of the referees.
Manuscripts registered in the sections “Debates”, ‘Interviews’ and “Article reviews / book reviews” will be evaluated by the editor of the journal and a member of the academic staff of the Department of Social Work.
The evaluation of the contributions may yield three possible results:
- Approval of the article without modifications.
2. Approval of the article with modifications.
3. Rejection of the article.
This decision will be informed by e-mail to the authors once the evaluation has been completed. If the manuscript is approved with modifications, the author will have a maximum of fifteen calendar days to make the modifications and resubmit the modified text.
