CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS: ‘Centennial Writings: Knowledge, Reflections and Discussions in Social Work for the To-Be’ Intervención Journal Vol. 15, No. 1 (2025)
2024-11-28
The Intervención Journal is published by the Department of Social Work at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado. It is interdisciplinary in nature and its purpose is to disseminate and encourage critical reflection on social problems, social policies and models of social intervention from an ethical perspective, and to promote a dialogue of knowledge with different social actors. The Intervención Journal is conceived as a space for reciprocal knowledge transfer between scientific activity and the development of social intervention processes.
In this way, the journal Intervención seeks to:
Build a space for research and critical reflection on social intervention that recognises the plurality of existing theoretical positions and the diversity of spaces for the development of contemporary social intervention.
To offer a scientific reflection on social phenomena and problems, ensuring the relevance of this reflection for the spaces of intervention.
To contribute to the generation of disciplinary knowledge that contributes to the academic discussion from the specific place of Social Work and the Social Sciences.
To influence the public debate on the country's problems through the editorial line and contents of the publications.
